The ConcealPack® 21L was originally created out of necessity, born on a trip from California to Australia with a stop through Tokyo’s crowded commuter lines. It needed to protect what mattered without drawing attention, carry like a travel bag, and perform like a technical pack. Today, that same intent remains at the core of its design, now strengthened by years of real world input from people who rely on their gear most.

Before building The Brown Buffalo, our founder spent over two decades designing for global brands like Nike, The North Face, and Burton, experience that taught us how to engineer durability, performance, and purpose into every detail. Over the years, we’ve continued refining the ConcealPack through feedback from a diverse and deeply skilled community; active duty service members, veterans, law enforcement professionals, EOD specialists, private sector security teams, and individuals with U.S. government and intelligence backgrounds.

Many of these professionals used our bags in their daily environments and shared the subtle insights that shaped the pack’s organization, structure, and under the radar capabilities. Their needs helped influence how the bag handles soft armor, supports concealed carry setups, and maintains a low signature while remaining fast and intuitive to access.

The ConcealPack isn’t defined by one user group; it’s shaped by everyone who has trusted it, from active duty operators to riders, travelers, designers, and everyday professionals who value quiet capability. Designed and Developed our Costa Mesa workshop, surrounded by a community of independent thinkers and craftspeople, this pack carries the collective experience of people who understand the importance of equipment that simply works.

A question we hear often: “What are the buckles and D-rings on the front for on the shoulder straps?”

We don’t advertise these heavily, but they exist for a reason. Over the years, we’ve incorporated subtle functionality requested by operators in the military, law enforcement, and EOD communities. Those who need them know exactly what they’re for, everyone else just gets clean hardware that integrates seamlessly into the silhouette.

• Versatile Storage: Internal laptop sleeve that can be removed for a more open, travel-friendly interior. Note: Laptop sleeve is not included and is sold separately.
